This is a super opportunity to work closely with the home manager to develop this stunning new home and recruit your own staff.
Set in a superb location and working supernumerary hours there is also an opportunity to manage the home when the commissioning home manager moves on to the next home should you wish
Working 40 hours per week you will work very closely with the Registered manager and deputise in their absence and lead a team of carers and unit managers in ensuring quality care is given to all residents . You will work closely with the staff and be expected to be a ‘hands on’ and proactive manager. This is a super opportunity for an experienced deputy manager who is looking for ‘the next step’ in their career or a registered manager looking for a step back
Liaising with families , GPs and other health care Professionals you will ensure you demonstrate kindness and professionalism and have a good knowledge of care standards, audits, medication, Dols etc.
You will be/ have
Have supervisory/management experience
a background in care management gained within an elderly care home
You will be a self starter able to motivate your team and ensure the excellent quality of care this provider is known for is delivered
You will have excellent knowledge of care standards and be passionate about dementia care
