We are recruiting an experienced Care Home Manager to lead a well-established medium sized elderly care home in Northamptonshire

The home provides specialist residential and dementia, and requires a confident leader with excellent communication skills who can maintain high standards of care while delivering strong operational performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager, Home Manager, Nursing Home Manager or Care Home Manager looking to join an established care provider who puts their staff and the residents at the heart of everything they do.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the day-to-day operation of the 45-bed care home.
  • Maintaining high standards of person-centred care and resident experience.
  • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and regulatory requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement across quality, care and operational performance.
  • Recruiting, developing, motivating and retaining a high-performing care team.
  • Providing visible and supportive leadership to colleagues across the home.
  • Managing staffing levels, rotas, agency usage and workforce costs effectively.
  • Taking responsibility for budgets and overall financial performance.
  • Supporting occupancy and building the home’s reputation within the local community.
  • Developing strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring safeguarding, governance, health and safety and quality assurance procedures are consistently maintained.
  • Creating a positive culture where colleagues are engaged and residents receive consistently high-quality care.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience as a Care Home Manager, Registered Manager, Nursing Home Manager or senior care home leader.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, compliance and quality frameworks.
  • A track record of maintaining or improving Good or Outstanding CQC standards.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or an equivalent management qualification.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, staffing and operational performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
